Square Cow Moovers is a thriving business with over 60 trucks across 9 locations. Ask your closest industry friend about them, and they’ll probably tell you about the black-and-green trucks with funky cow graphics. But for the people who worked with Square Cow Moovers, that’s not what really stands out. It’s how obsessively seriously they take service. (We know because we also visited their HQ in 2024!) It doesn’t matter if they’re moving an antique or a $2 spatula, it all gets the same treatment. And just like Supermove, Square Cow Moovers put a lot of stock in efficiency. The way we see it, our partnership was inevitable.

That right there? That’s Supermove in action! Instead of signing a stack of paperwork, Square Cow’s customers sign everything on a tablet with a few taps. Their GPS tracking keeps customers in the loop on exactly when the crew will arrive. Automated messages guide customers before, during, and after the move. Small changes, but together, they make a huge difference for Square Cow’s customers.

At Square Cow Moovers, great movers work hard. They’re polite, they go the extra mile, and they take pride in a job well done. Now they’re even more motivated because the best movers are making more money than ever with Supermove. This surprised everyone.

When Square Cow Moovers first switched to Supermove, they were excited about features that make dispatch and operations more efficient, simpler scheduling, our multi-branch capabilities, and robust reporting. And they got all of that! But tipping? No one was vocal about it. It wasn’t a problem, and it wasn’t on anyone’s priority list.

Of all the things Supermove improved, it was the restaurant-style tipping feature that made the biggest impact on Square Cow’s movers (no pun intended). It all happens in the Supermove Crew App, on the tablet every crew brings to the job. When the job’s done and the customer is about to pay, a prompt pops up with an option to leave a tip. With just one tap, customers can tell their movers: “You did a great job. I appreciate you.”

From manual data exports to real-time dashboards

Square Cow’s previous moving software did the job for one location, but once they started franchising in 2023, the writing was on the wall.

Their previous software wasn’t built for multi-location companies. Reporting was limited and cumbersome. It couldn’t filter revenue by sales rep, service type, or branch—all the things that Square Cow Moovers monitored. Square Cow Moovers had to work around it. Every week or two, someone would manually export data from each branch, clean up mismatched formats, and put together reports to get a clear picture of the business. Once Square Cow Moovers switched to Supermove, it didn’t change how they do reporting. It just became easier. Their reports are now real-time dashboards, easily sharable and broken down by branch and service type (commercial, residential, apartments, etc.).

Managers no longer have to double-check payroll

Square Cow Moovers had a similar headache with payroll. Their managers followed a golden rule: whenever it’s payroll time, double-check and adjust reports to make sure long-distance hours don’t get miscalculated into regular hours or counted as overtime. They enforced this rule for a reason. Their moving software couldn’t separate long-distance hours from regular ones. Now that Square Cow Moovers use Supermove, long-distance hours are tracked separately and automatically from the start. Managers don’t have to double-check payroll anymore. It just works.

When Square Cow Moovers asked for an easier way to handle claims, we rolled out a feature that lets Square Cow’s customers file claims through a link and lets Square Cow manage claims from a single tab. When Square Cow’s dispatchers needed a better way to assign trucks returning from morning moves without throwing off their capacity planning, our Customer Success team helped set up Tags to make it easy. The Square Cow team can now tag certain jobs as "First Truck In", so dispatchers know those should go to the first available truck. They also got "Ignore for Capacity" tags for jobs that shouldn’t count against capacity metrics. And that’s just two examples! Square Cow keeps growing, and we keep growing with them.
