Profiles of America's Top Moving Companies

The Fortune 100 of Moving

Moving has built billion-dollar operators, multi-generation family businesses, and category-defining brands, and no one's ever put them in one place. We are. Every year, we meet with the top 100 moving companies in North America to profile the owners, the operators, and the philosophies behind them. The full hundred publish on supermove.com. The top thirty land in The Fortune 30 of Moving, our year-end hardcover book.
WHY THIS, WHY NOW
An industry that has
never had its stage

Moving is one of the largest service industries in North America. Enterprise operators run multi-state operations, manage 40 to 100+ truck fleets, and represent some of the most sophisticated logistics in the country. Many are decades-deep family businesses that employ hundreds of people.
The industry has no shortage of hardworking companies, but they've never had a stage worthy of what they've built. The Fortune 100 of Moving is that stage. The kind of recognition program that has existed for top companies in every major industry, except this one. Until now.

"This is the attention that the moving industry has never had. The companies we are recognizing have built something special. Their crews have been with them for decades. Their origin stories would make great films. We are just here to tell those stories the way they deserve to be told."

THE CRITERIA
How will we
choose the top 100?
Four things we look at when evaluating every operator.
Who's eligible
Built for serious operators
with a story to tell

Multi-branch operations, real revenue scale (think 50+ trucks, $40M+ annual), and a story worth telling. Van line agents, independent regional operators, commercial specialists, the companies that started with horse-and-buggy deliveries and are still family-run 150 years later, and the operators who went from one truck to $100M in under a decade.  Al in scope. If you're not sure whether you fit, nominate anyway and we'll let you know.

Participation is free

There is no cost to your company at any point in the process. We don't take payment to feature anyone, and there's no upgrade path to buy your way into the top thirty.

How it works

Three steps. No on-site visit required.

From nomination to publication, the whole process is digital.

01

You meet with our team digitally

A Supermover sits down with ideally the owners on a 30 to 60-minute video call. To ask you questions about your origin story, what makes you special, giving back, and community initiatives.

02

We write and produce your profile

Supermove does all the work. You review the full draft before anything goes public. The finished piece is an editorial profile on supermove.com and you receive a digital copy.

03

We share it across our network

The top 30 are featured in the year-end book, distributed at industry conferences, and mailed to a hand-picked list of industry executives.
